MFRW’s Legacy Fund will reimburse each MFRW member who is a full-time Biennial Convention attendee 1/2 of the Early Bird registration fee. Learn more about the Convention venue HERE.
Pursuant to the NFRW Bylaws – Article IX, Section 3(A), the VOTING BODY of the Maryland delegation to the Biennial Convention will be:
- President of the MFRW
- 1 delegate from each club
- The club president designates the delegate and the alternate for their club unless club bylaws define a different process.
- 5 delegates-at-large plus 1 additional delegate-at-large for each 500 members or major fraction thereof – 2027 dues paid at least 90 days prior to the convention (Ex: 1,120 members = +2 for a total of 7)
Pursuant to the NFRW Bylaws, Article IX, Section 3(B), Maryland’s Convention delegation may include an alternate for each voting delegate except the State president. A club alternate must be a full member of that club whose 2027 dues have been paid and who has registered for the full Convention.
In order to be certified as a delegate or an alternate, you must be a member in good standing (2027 dues paid) and have registered for the full convention.
Anyone can attend the Biennial Convention even if there are no available delegate or alternate positions. All MFRW members (delegates, alternates and others) have equal standing in the Maryland delegation, participating in all activities and discussions.
POSSIBLE SCHEDULE (based on the 2025 Biennial Convention):
WEDNESDAY and THURSDAY — optional tours and workshops are often available for an additional fee
FRIDAY — 6 p.m. – Welcome Reception
SATURDAY
- 8:30 – 11:30 a.m. – Convention General Session
- 12:30 – 2:30 p.m. – NFRW Awards luncheon
- 3 – 4:30 p.m. – Training Workshops
- 5 – 6 p.m. – Achievement Awards Ceremony
SUNDAY
- 8 – 9 a.m. — Prayer Breakfast (additional)
- 9:30 a.m. – Noon – Convention General Session
- 12:30 – 2 p.m. — Networking Luncheon
