Yes, there are still farms in Prince George’s County. This will be a casual picnic-style afternoon of fellowship at MFRW President Sharon Carrick’s home. Friends and family are welcome too.
We have moved our start time to Noon to allow time for food and fellowship prior to Charlie Kirk’s funeral. Attendees will be able to view the funeral service at Sharon’s home.
September 21st is the astronomical September equinox (Latin for “equal night”), marking the end of Summer and the beginning of Fall (Autumn). It is the point at which the sun stands directly above the equator, making day and night equal in time.
The autumn equinox is a time of gratitude for the bountiful harvest. We gather with those we care about and partake in a celebratory feast.
