Join MFRW’s Legislative team as they visit every legislator’s office — Republican and Democrat — to present MFRW’s 2026 Legislative Priorities.
We will meet at 9:45 a.m. for direction and distribution of materials. Participants will pair up for visits to legislator offices — presenting each legislator (or staff) in your region with a copy of MFRW’s 2026 Legislative Priorities and MFRW’s research brochures on “Boys Competing in Girls’ Sports — Is It Fair?” and ranked choice voting. The purpose of these visits is two-fold: to encourage support for our legislative priorities and to raise awareness of the depth and breadth of MFRW’s legislative advocacy efforts.
MFRW will host lunch for our volunteers at Ram’s Head Tavern (33 West St) when you’re done. We can share experiences and discuss steps going forward.
Final details will be shared with volunteers on Monday, January 12th.
