This year’s 2015 Spring Board of Directors and Members Meeting is going to be fantastic! It is a great time for members and like-minded people to gather from across the state to network and enjoy an outstanding program. Your MFRW Board is committed to ensuring that your experience will be worthwhile, educational, and interactive. Therefore, we have put together an impressive program of speakers, which include:
Peter Huessy, President of GeoStrategic Analysis, senior defense consultant at the Air Force Association, and National Security Fellow at the American Foreign Policy Council, lectures widely at such institutions as the U.S. Naval Academy, the Joint Military Intelligence College, and the U.S. National War College. He writes for a variety of publications and appears frequently on television and radio discussing key national security issues.
Noah Pollak, the executive director of the Emergency Committee for Israel and a contributor to Commentary, the Weekly Standard, and the Washington Free Beacon, worked for three years at the Shalem Center, a Jewish think tank in Jerusalem. Mr. Pollak has written for a variety of U.S. and Israeli newspapers and magazines and has appeared on CNN, Fox News, PBS News Hour, and other TV programs.
Gabriel Scheinmann, the Director of Policy at the Jewish Policy Center in Washington, D.C., was a Visiting Fellow at the Jewish Institute for National Security Affairs.(JINSA) His publications have appeared in the Washington Post, the Wall Street Journal, Time.com, the Jerusalem Post, and many other forums.
Melvin Luterman is Cantor Emeritus of Temple Oheb Shalom in Baltimore, where he served for many years as a tenor and bright spirit with a gift of song and leadership in the Jewish community.
Dan Bongino, former member of the NYPD and the U.S. Secret Service, Republican nominee for the 6th Congressional seat in 2014 and the U.S. Senate in 2012, and radio talk show host is the author of “Life Inside the Bubble – Why a Top-Ranked Secret Service Agent Walked Away From It All.”
Wayne Dupree, is a veteran, radio talk show host, and 2015 winner of the American Conservative Union’s “Blogger of the Year.” He comments on politics from the perspective of a Black Conservative.
Clare Lopez, former CIA officer and a security expert on counterterrorism and the Middle East will be the featured speaker at the Saturday luncheon.
